In 2008, Michael and Peter Meksian, the father and son duo behind the jewelry company Michael M, began their fruitful career in the Downtown Los Angeles Jewelry District. Since their inception, the brand has focused heavily on quality, being one of the few jewelers to use G color and VS clarity diamonds that have all been sourced responsibly. 

Along with caring about the natural world that these diamonds have come from, each diamond is meticulously polished as the hole is drilled into place for the setting by a person, and not by the industry standard of a machine.
