Each day brings us closer to the spring season and if you are as tired of winter as we are then you are just as excited for warmer weather, open toe shoes, short sleeves and everything else the season of spring brings to us.
Looking ahead to spring fashion there are plenty of reasons to be excited. The major shows in New York, London, and Milan showed us unique trends that will surely have us in awe right up until the fall season. Below are a few highlights from our favorite fashion icons.
Salvatore Ferragamo, originally known for shoes has our heart. Take a look at the soft tones, the prints incorporated with sheer fabrics, and bold color combinations.Ferragamo

Burberry and Victoria Beckham wowed the world from London. Beckham gives classic styles some edge, using sheer fabrics to accentuate the female frame. The head to toe black look will always remain in style, such an elegant look with the green shoes. Red, another classic color is shown and paired with lavender shoes giving the bold color a pastel counterpart that will create conversation. White and lavender are big for spring, the designers are showing them alone, together or monochromatic. Look for these shades and incorporate them into your wardrobe to stay on trend but also to update classics pieces you currently own.

The trench coat is a thing this year and Burberry shows us how to wear it with flair. The traditional khaki brown, is of course, a wardrobe staple but take a look at the floral option; it is gorgeous. According to Burberry the trench is an outerwear piece that transition from day to night styled according to your personality.

Marc Jacobs showcased his spring line in silence, models walked the runway with no music whatsoever, allowing the clothing to speak for itself. The Marc Jacobs color palette is a bold one so if pastels are not your favorite this is where you should be, the bright oranges, greens, pinks are only a snapshot. More influence from the nineties.

This season’s collection shows us white, black, pastel, bold color and pieces that are funky with an ability to be worn anytime, anywhere. The white and black look can work itself right out of spring and into summer, it is beyond elegant and a favorite of ours.

Spring, of all the seasons, evokes a sense of newness or renaissance within us all. This season more so than any other season gives us hope for the new year, allows us to walk outside, play with our children, eat with our families and of course wear something besides our go-to chunky sweater and boots. This spring be daring, maybe even a little bold with your fashion. Add that vibrant color, wear a sheer top or buy the lavender shoes!
